Curriculum

The academic year is from April to March. The school closes for summer vacation in the second half of May and reopens by the first week of July.

Enrollment

Admission

  1. Registration forms are available in the school office for the classes Nursery, LKG, UKG, 1st to 3rd only.
  2. Admission is granted to Nursery after Registration and an audience with the parents and the child.
  3. Admission to other classes is done after an Entrance Test for which registration is done in advance.
  4. Candidates should produce their Birth Certificate from Tehsil / Municipality for the fresh admissions from Nursery to Class 3rd
  5. New Admissions from other schools (Class: 2nd to 3rd) have to produce their Transfer Certificate (T.C) at the time of admission and birth certificate issued by school authority at the time of the Entrance Test
  6. Birth Certificate & Aadhar Card are mandatory for all admissions.
  7. The Registration Forms, duly filled in, are to be produced at the time of the Entrance Test.
  8. Candidates have to appear for the Entrance Test on the specific date given in the Registration form
  9. Incomplete applications received after the specified date are summarily rejected without giving any information.
  10. Selected candidates should come with their parents for admission on the date given.
  11. If any candidate has not taken admission on the date given, their admission will be canceled and chance will be given to the next candidate in the Waiting List.

Fee Regulation

Fees Rules

  • The school fee is yearly and it is divided into 4 installments in order to make it more convenient to the parents.
  • If you have once submitted any school Fee (Registration Fee, Admission Fee, monthly fee, etc.), that will not be refundable or re-adjustable.
  • Admission Fee and 1st Installment Fee will be submitted at the time of Admission.
  • All payments are to be made at Punjab National Bank, Shahpur or through the Parent Portal on http://www.stchavaraschool.in/ Lofty Parent Portal Mobile App on the specific dates given in the Fee Voucher issued.
  • Late Fees will be submitted in the school office with a fine.
  • If anybody wants to pay the entire school fee once, it should be submitted either in the school office or through the Lofty Parent Portal.

Withdrawal

  • Students are admitted on the understanding that they will remain in the school at least for the entire academic year.
  • Discharge certificate are issued from the school on application from parents, due to transfer or other valued reasons only after clearing all the dues to the schools.
  • Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, disobedience or defiance of authority, lack of sufficient efforts to improve in studies, or conduct against the moral tone of the school & society and parental non-cooperation with the staff or school authorities are sufficient reasons for the dismissal of a student.
  • Digital class room Fee will be collected from each students other than the tuition fee. The amount once paid will not be refunded (even if the pupil for any reason shall leave the school immediately.)
  • Fees shall not be accepted without producing the fee card.
  • Fee will be increased by 10-12% every year.
  • Parents can remit the school fee by using the online gateway provided by the school.

Timing

All children are expected to be in the school at least 05 minutes before the scheduled time for the assembly. Pupils, coming late will not be admitted to classes. Students are strictly forbidden to leave the school premises, during the school hours without the permission of the principal.

General Rules

Attendance
  • All the students are expected to be present on the opening day and the closing day of the academic year.
  • Latecomers shall report to the Principal/teacher designated. Habitual late coming will not be tolerated
  • Students must have a minimum of 75% attendance to be permitted to write the examinations.
  • Absentees at an examination will be considered as having failed unless it is established that their absence was due to illness.
  • Students who are absent from classes for 2 weeks or more at a stretch without the permission of the Principal obtained in writing, will be considered to have left the school.
  • When absence is caused by unforeseen events, application duly signed by parents for leave must be submitted to the Principal.
To the Parents/ Guardians
  • The parents are earnestly requested to co-operate with the school administration. They should ensure their children’s regular attendance at school. They must help the children to do their homework and prepare their lessons daily.
  • Remarks made in the school diary should be seen and counter-signed regularly.
  • Parents/ Guardians are not allowed to enter the class rooms. Neither can they contact the teacher and children during the school hours without the permission of the Principal If a student is likely to be ill for a long period the Principal must be informed as early as possible
  • If absence, due to illness, lasts for more than three days, an application for leave must be made to the Principal, accompanied by a registered doctor’s certificate
  • Those who return to school after absenting themselves without leave shall not enter the class without the permission of the Principal
  • Parents are responsible for the arrangement of the conveyance of their wards to the school
  • Criticism of students, teachers or school in the presence of children should be avoided Any kind of damage done to school property by any student must be restored or compensated by the parents. The decision of the principal regarding the amount to be paid is final

Transportation

School Transport facility is available for those who are desirous of availing it. Parents who want School Transport for their wards shall furnish a written undertaking that the school will not be held responsible for any damage/injury/loss of life/or property due to any mishap.

New Academic Year (2020-2021) Starts:-

LKG to III-1st April 2020, Wednesday(Time:- 7.15a.m. to 1.30 p.m.)
Nursery-3rd April 2020, Friday (Time:- 8.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m., From July 8.00 – 12.15 p.m.)


Please Note:-

Answer sheets of annual exams will not be shown to parents.

The result will not be given unless all fee dues are cleared.

Summer timing (7:15 am to 1.30 pm) will be followed and the students have to come in summer uniform. All the students have to reach at least 10 minutes before the scheduled time and late comers will not be allowed to attend the classes.

The fee structure for the Year 2020 -2021 is displayed on the school notice board as well on the website.

As per the order from the DIOS office, there will be 12% increment in the school fee for the session 2020-21. The Management has decided to increase 10% in the new session, 2020-21.

All the students have to deposit the 1st Instalment of fee from 5th April 2020 to 20th April 2020 in Punjab National Bank, Shahpur or through the Parents Portal on http://www.stchavaraschool.in / Lofty Parent Portal Mobile App.

In the New session 2020-’21, Fee will not be accepted in the school counter. Kindly deposit the fees in the Bank or pay online.

Names of the Students, who do not come to the school for the first five days without any written information, will be removed from the School Register.

White Uniform will be worn on Wednesdays & House uniforms on Saturdays.


Class – 1st Admission (From St. Thomas Kindergarten UKG to 1st) on 24th & 25th March 2020 (Tuesday , Wednesday)

1. Students those who are promoted from UKG have to take fresh admission in class 1st 24th & 25th March 2020 (Tuesday , Wednesday). Parents (Father & Mother) have to come for filling the Admission Form in the school office.
Please bring the following for Admission:

  • Birth certificate from Nagar Palika / Tehsil - Original + 1 photocopy, Aadhar Card Photocopy
  • Recent Passport size photograph of the student – 2, PP size Photograph of Father, Mother & Guardian. , Report Card of UKG
  • Management Fee Rs. 2750 /-

2. Students are not permitted to sit in Class –I without taking fresh Admission.

3. If any candidate has not taken admission on the dates given, their admission will be cancelled and chance will be given to the next candidate
